Do you think you have low self-esteem? Having a healthy self-esteem and self-regard can proactively tackle depression, anxiety, and panic; not to mention that when you have a low self-esteem you are hesitate in achieving your goals. Here are 3 strategies you can use to better your self-esteem:
1. Self-care: take care of your appearance and hygiene daily. When you take care of yourself you feel better about yourself.
2. Exercise: working out can provide a sense of accomplishment and security. Good posture will automatically make you feel confident. Standing straight, keep your head up, and make eye contact. You will feel empowered. Exercise helps! I recommend exercising 3 times a week.
3. Write: a list of positive qualities. If you only focus on the negative you will not see what greatness you possess. I recommend you sit down weekly and take notice of what you like about yourself.
The relationship you have with yourself is lifelong. This relationship can influence every aspect of your life. It is essential to cultivate a healthy self-regard.
