Yaritza is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania and a Nationally Certified Counselor.   She was the Vice President of SHARE Counseling & Therapy Services™ for 5 years where she learned so much clinically and professionally alongside her colleague and friend.

Yaritza graduated from Temple University with a B.S. in Human Biology and a minor in Anthropology. She later earned her Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Holy Family University.

Yaritza has over 10 years of experience in the field of Psychology and Mental Health.  In her experience, she has worked with at-risk children, teens, and families; as well as with individuals suffering from severe mental illness.  All this experience has really influenced her scope of practice.

Yaritza is a wife and mother to the sweetest little boy. She enjoys reading and can easily ready 3 books a month. An avid mug collector,  Yaritza likes to keep active by getting some form of exercises everyday and drinking her daily green juice.Yaritza volunteers as a postpartum warm-line support – connecting mothers with resources and support in their areas for treatment.

Additionally, Yaritza wrote the weekly column for SHARE Counseling & Therapy Services™, as well as guest writing for other blogs and publications. You can expect her to discuss topics of family, relationships, motherhood, and trauma recovery. She’s bilingual, so expect, posts in both languages.  She offers workshops and classes on mental health education, personal development,  the power of nutrition in mental health, and holistic wellness.
